چکیده

Two unique approaches were proposed to strengthen the bond between glass fiber reinforcement polymer (GFRP) and RC concrete surfaces. The two bonding materials are epoxy (EP) geopolymer (GPP) with different ratios of short fibers (SGF). experimental program includes seven reinforced (RC) beams that have same cross-section (150 mm × 200 mm) 1500 in length. first beam is control (B0-Control). next three B1-0-GPP, B2-0.6-GPP, B3-1.2-GPP GPP SGF 0%, 0.6%, 1.2%, respectively. last B4-0-EP, B5-0.6-EP, B6-1.2-EP EP results show failure loads B2-0.60-GPP, greater than B0-Control by approximately 20.80%, 25.60%, 31.40%, respectively, whereas 16.90%, 26.90%, 26.10%, respectively; it also noted debonding occurs. In addition adhesive material, has a great effect on increasing beam’s load capacity due enhanced interfacial shear strength. Additionally, finite-element ABAQUS performed verify results.

Performance of Corrosion-Damaged HSC Beams Strengthened with GFRP Laminates

This paper presents the results of an experimental program conducted for evaluating the performance of corrosion damaged HSC beams strengthened with GFRP laminates. Five Beam specimens of size 150x250x3000 mm were caste and tested for the present investigation. One beam specimen was neither corroded nor strengthened to serve as reference. Two beams were corroded to serve as corroded control. A ...

Flexural Behavior of Lightweight Concrete Beams Reinforced with GFRP Bars and Effects of the Added Micro and Macro Fiber

This study evaluated the effect of macro steel fiber (SF), micro glass fiber (GF) and micro polypropylene fiber (PF) in lightweight aggregate concrete, (LWAC) beams reinforced with glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) bars. Firstly, concrete mixtures with different volume fractions of GF, PF and SF were tested up to compressive strength, then determine the optimum fiber content GF, PF and SF a...
